You have been hired by IMAP Hardware Incorporated to document the layout of the network. Complete the following tasks:

Complete the network topology shown in the graphic by dragging the labels below with the appropriate router types, interface types, and IP addresses to the graphic . Find the information you need by using the router console attached to the R-Centre router.

This works like troubleshooting questions. According to the question from above, you can gain access to the console of the R-Centre router by clicking on the PC.

Firstly, to view the type of neighboring devices, use the show cdp neighbors command; you will seea similar outputshown below:


A brief explanation of the output above:

Device ID: The name of the neighbor device ; either the MAC address or the serial number of this device.

Local Interface: The protocol and port number of the port on the current device -  device you are running cdp from.

Holdtime : The remaining amount of time, in seconds, the current device will hold the CDP advertisement from a transmitting router before discarding it.

Capabilities: The device type of the neighbor. Thisdevice can be a router, a bridge, a transparent bridge, a source-routingbridge, a switch, a host, an IGMP device, or a repeater.

Platform: The product name and number of the neighbor device.

Port ID: Neighbor's remote port type and number where you receive the cdp information.

From the diplay above , the Local Interface, Platform and Port ID columns, this helps us to identify where these four routers and their corresponding ports should be placed . See the result below:

Finally, to find out the IP addresses of the corresponding routers, use the show running-config command on R-Centre
